Orokonui Ecosanctuary is a 307-hectares biodiversity sanctuary. Pictured in order are takahē (adult & juvenile), a jewelled gecko, a tuatara (the last member of its order!), kākā, a bellbird, and tūī. Additionally, we took a trip to Baldwin Street - the steepest street in the world - and walked (hiked) to the top!
